iTunesU at Dalhousie
HALIFAX – Dalhousie University is the first school in the eastern region of Canada to launch iTunesU, a web application that provides a wide range of downloadable multimedia files for students, faculty, and members of the wider community.
A university news release said public lectures, university events and a focus on faculty publications are available for downloading at www.iTunesU.dal.ca. The iTunesU project will also act as another piece in the university’s recruitment marketing strategy – a section called “See Us Now” will make available trailers, promotional clips for the university and even Dal's original rock song
“iTunesU is a great tool to reach students where they live,” says Jim Vibert, Dalhousie’s assistant vice-president, communications and marketing.
